President-Clent presided over our meeting, Art guided us in prayer, Phil Goode led us with the pledge to our flag, and Terry Smith with the Four Way Test. Linda Mast introduced new member Barb Bruce as the new Touchmark representative, Jim Huffman reminded us that the club is looking for volunteers to assist with the April 17 Cruising For Vets event, Art announced that all three Prescott Rotary clubs will be joining together for the first time and will be led by the PHS Interact Club for the Rotary at Work Week food drive scheduled for April 24-25, Richard Hernandez reminded all to please fill out and return the emailed membership survey and International Chair Jerry Hulm provided us with a summary of the 2021 US/Mexico Friendship Conference and he described the four global grant projects to which Sunup pledged support. Jerry Fohrman was our Sgt. at Arms and fined those who had not returned the membership survey, Phil Goode for his attendance at the new airline ribbon cutting, and Bud for not recognizing him at the supermarket. Clent, Jerry, Roy, Teresa and Terry donated happy bucks. Jim Huffman was happy his daughter and family were coming to town, Linda Mast made a donation towards the successful medical treatment of Stan Steiner, John Stewart was happy about his dog Foxy’s success surgery, Barb Bruce celebrated her new membership, and Todd paid up to wish everyone a Happy Year of the Ox. AJ introduced our own Art Harrington as the guest speaker. Art provided the club with a presentation entitled Understanding Your Rotary Club Fiduciary Responsibilities. The presentation detailed the vast financial responsibilities every Rotary Club is required to meet at the Rotary District and Rotary International levels.
