With a new Rotary International President, Francesco Arezzo, an Orthodontist from the Rotary Club of Ragusa, Italy, on July 1 Rotary clubs around the world turned the page and began a new year. The Presidential Message for this 2025-26 Rotary Year is "Unite for Good." Francesco is calling on Rotary members to be a force for unity in a world increasingly divided by politics, geography and ideology. Through our service projects, Rotarians are able to bring together people of every background — across races, religions and professions — in a shared mission to do good in their own communities, as well as in other communities around the world. Is this cool, or what?! PDG Art Harrington juat installed this new Rotary license plate on his car. Thanks to the persistent efforts of several of our District 5495 Rotarians, headed by Stephen Phair, Past Club President of the Rotary Club of Sun Lakes, when it's time to renew the Arizona registration on your vehicle, you now have the option of ordering one of the new Rotary license plates for your car. The $25 per year cost actually returns $15 of that fee to our Rotary district. There is also an addtional $25 charge if you want to display a personalized message on your plate. Who will be the next member of our club to get one of these Rotary licanse plates for your car? Take a photo of it, and we will be happy to include it in the next issue of The Sunupian. Help us spread Rotary's "Service Above Self" message wherever you drive!
