CYMPO Shares Mission, Vision & Plan
Vinny Gallegos, CYMPO Director, with three of his key staff members

DID YOU KNOW that 45,000 vehicles each day travel the SR-69 Corridor between Prescott and Dewey-Humboldt?  This was one of many facts shared with our club by Vinny Gallegos and his capable staff, describing just one of the challenges facing the Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization (CYMPO), as they plan and prepare for the anticipated continuing growth and traffic demands over the next 25 years.  Their stated Mission is the Safe and Efficient movement of people, goods and services.  Their Vision is a regional one, to provide the necessary leadership, and planning to assure the transportation needs of this part of the state will continue to be met.  In addition to planning for the essential roadways, CYMPO also has been responsible for developing a regional trails plan.

As we enjoy this special day, let’s also remember—we are just one week away from our big fundraiser! It’s all hands in as we make this final push. A sincere thank you to everyone who has already been working so hard to make this a success. Your dedication truly embodies the spirit of Rotary.

...and many other impactful initiatives.
