This week Laura Vanderberg, club President led the meeting.
We did the next step in prioritizing our interests in club community service activities. More to come from Laura on this process, but she shared that the intention behind it is to determine where we, as a club, have energy to go and what we will do over the next couple of years.
She acknowledges that this will mean change, and that change is hard, but necessary for the Club to continue to make an impact in our community in our changing world.
Laura and Christy Manning (President Nominee & Community Service Director) will work together to sort this out.
Laura reviewed this month's good works, talked about Double Down, and then the group split into 2 groups.
The objective of the two groups was to have discussion and then commit to taking action.
The Sponsorships and Donors group talked about what businesses to reach out and how to track who's talked to who in the zoo.
The Silent Auction group talked about how to make the silent auction even more efficient during the check out process and came up with some ideas for how to do that.
Let's make it great!

The Snack Shack
Eric asked that anyone doing the Snack Shack needs to pick up the cash box an hour before the first game of the day, and if it's a Tuesday game, to bring the box to our Wednesday meeting rather than return it to its home.
Snack Shack is located at Bill Vallaley Field #1 (off Washington, at the back of Yavapai College)! We're selling packaged foods and beverages during the Yavapai College Softball games & Little League games.
